Dr. Krakower is an Associate Professor in Psychiatry at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist and formerly served as Unit Chief of Psychiatry at Northwell Health / Zucker Hillside Hospital. He is internationally recognized for his work with patients suffering from trauma, anxiety, video gaming, head injuries, coronavirus recovery, and addiction. He has provided expert opinion for hundreds of studies worldwide. He is recognized as a top physician by SuperDoctors and was a group recipient of the the Catchers in the Rye Humanitarian Award.

Dr. Wilkinson is a Board-Certified in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She uses evidence-based practice approach for psychiatric medication management and therapy. She provides education to you regarding your diagnosis, treatment plan, and medication regimen. She strived to provide a Client-Centered-Care with respect, nonjudgmental attitude, acceptance, empathy, authenticity, and professional boundaries. She offers a personal and an individualized treatment plan for each patient based on their personal needs. She offers to be a partner on your journey to improve your mental health and mental wellbeing.

I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.

Sima Alavi is a Board Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She began her career in 1995, after graduating from the University of Miami and continued on to earn her masters and Doctorate degree in the field of mental health with specialization in both children and adults. Her focus is in rehabilitation, detoxification, and recovery for both inpatient and outpatient treatment centers. Through evaluation and stabilization, she targets treatment for individuals experiencing a crisis situation and those who seek the need for immediate intervention. She works collaboratively with fellow psychiatric practitioners

I am a psychotherapy- and psychedelic therapy-trained psychiatrist who treats individuals struggling with a variety of conditions, including depression, anxiety, and trauma. My therapeutic approach is broadly informed and focused most on helping people cultivate deeper relationships with themselves and others, so they can live in ways that feel resilient, vibrant, and true.

Dr. Barrett believes that health is wealth, and that total health is achieved when mental health is also prioritized. She is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Doctorally educated therapist. She provides mental health evaluations, therapy, medication management, and other client-specific treatment interventions and recommendations for clients across the life span for clients seeking relief from emotional and behavioral challenge.
