She obtained her bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University and then obtained both her master's degree and post-master's degree from the University of Cincinnati.

I am dual certified as a PMHNP and FNP (family nurse practitioner) and have been working in health care for over 20 years with over 15 years as an advanced practice nurse. I have worked in a variety of settings to include acute and outpatient care with all ages as well as with veteran and active duty military service members. I’m a board certified psychiatrist in Portland. I provide both psychotherapy and medication management; I also offer psychiatric evaluation and med management to folks who already have an individual therapist who they see regularly (at least every other week, preferably one or more times a week). While my vibe is casual, my clinical approach (both meds and therapy) is thoughtful, evidence based, and individualized.
