About
It takes a lot of courage to ask for help. My goal is to witness and support you as you embark on this heroic journey of self-discovery and growth. I understand that life can be hard and filled with unpredictable ups and downs. I use a holistic approach to help patients ease their suffering and live life with more joy, spontaneity, and well-being.
I am a board-certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist with over twenty years of clinical experience treating a wide variety of psychiatric illnesses. I specialize in childhood/adolescent developmental struggles, ADHD, and mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders.
I trained in Mindfulness Stress Reduction, Cognitive Therapy, and Self-Compassion and taught mindfulness practices to children, adolescents, and adults. I have expertise working with victims of trauma and believe that patients supported with compassionate care have the innate capacity to transform their suffering to self-acceptance and resiliency.
