About
Dr. Rajouria-Malla has exceptional credentials and is triple board certified (Adult, Child-Adolescent & Addiction). She is a graduate of Columbia Univ and Emory Univ Fellowship Programs, and has completed Fellowship in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from NYU. In addition to an excellent medical foundation, she has unparalleled and diverse experience in psychiatry since 2004. She has worked in CSB, in-patient, PHP/IOP, VA, residential, and group-practice settings and has served as a consultant for Disaster Psychiatry team. She brings all this experience to her solo practice where she can do the work she loves, caring for her patients.
Her initial evaluation is thorough & comprehensive. Genetic testing is also offered. She customizes an individualized, tailored treatment plan based on the patient and families’ needs. She tries to prescribe the least amount of medication possible. In addition to being very competent, she is very approachable and values patients & therapist's inputs.
She enjoys working with children, adolescent and adults alike, and takes time to get to know them. She believes in working with the family and not just the patient. She is mindful and respectful of one’s gender, sexual orientation as well as family and cultural values. She strives not only to get you better, but to your highest possible functioning level.
