I am a Korean American Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experiences with PTSD, OCD, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and other behavioral or mental health issues. As a Military Veteran myself, I truly believe that the brain and body work together when outside forces such as trauma, stress, or injury occur. The mind will go into a survival mode, which can trigger mental and physical symptoms. Mental illness can come to anyone and at any time.

My job is to help people by identifying triggers, treating symptoms or illnesses, and helping those people with their recovery journey.

I enjoy utilizing a collaborative process when it comes to mental health. Sometimes individual therapy or cognitive behavioral therapy alone can help with the treatment. Other times, psychopharmacology, good diet, activities, meditation, and therapies can be utilized to treat the whole body.
