I am a UCSF-trained, board-certified psychiatrist with over a decade of experience treating the full spectrum of mental and emotional struggles, with a holistic approach that draws from conventional psychiatry as well as integrative and functional medicine. I strive to deeply understand your lived experience, while also exploring underlying physiological factors that may be contributing to your distress. I offer in-depth evaluations that include laboratory testing to uncover root causes, and highly individualized treatment to bring relief and restore balance.
Previously on the faculty at UCSF, I directed the Women's Mental Health Clinic and the Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy program there, consulted to OB-Gyn and Women's Health Primary Care, and supervised medical students and residents. I have expertise in reproductive and perinatal psychiatry. I am also certified in Integrative and Functional Psychiatry.
My goal is to help people from all walks of life find healing and resilience, empowering a life of vitality and authenticity. Whether you are new to treatment, or have struggled with numerous medication trials with inadequate relief or unwanted side effects, please reach out. I would love to help.
