Hi! I am a Dual Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 22 years of experience in healthcare with excellent people skills. I see patients 18 y/o and up. I passionately seek to create an inviting safe space for people wanting to start the discussion surrounding medication and their mental health. Often, counseling needs to be augmented with medication, and it helps to have a practitioner dedicated to collaborating with you and your therapist (if you do have one). I assess and treat most mental health diagnoses and am well-equipped to navigate even the most complex situations.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my job is to assess, diagnose, and treat your mental health needs medically. I will work with you and your counselor (if you're already in therapy) to assess appropriately, answer your questions, and develop a plan you feel good about. Most importantly I will take the time to get to know you and your unique situation.

I treat ADHD with "NON-stimulant" options.
My main focus is on improving mental wellness.

I often use talk therapy; however, as a prescriber, I mostly focus on medication management not so much on multiple therapy modalities. During our visits, I will educate you about different treatment options that will best fit your needs. Our practice does not prescribe controlled medications, such as Xanax, Ativan, Adderall, etc...
