Many successful, high functioning individuals suffer from stress, anxiety and depression. These symptoms can be very challenging to overcome on their own. Distressing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that inhibit us from living our best lives can be derived from processes blind to us. Becoming aware of these processes allows for change, growth, and relief from stress, worries, and depressed emotions. Psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy provides a safe space to process emotional struggles, develop deep self awareness, and lasting relief of symptoms.
With over 16 years in practice as an adult psychiatrist and additional formal training in psychotherapy, I specialize in helping individuals explore unconscious processes that contribute to symptoms of anxiety and depression. We'll process emotional struggles, developing effective coping, and create deep self awareness to provide enduring symptom relief.
