I am trained in CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I draw from the wisdom and compassion psychology of the Buddhist Vajrayana tradition. I am also strongly influenced by the schools of psychoanalysis and depth psychology. I am training in psychedelic medicine, Hakomi, and have a special interest in the use of ketamine for perinatal grief.
I believe that childhood and other traumas are either causative or contributory to the reasons people seek therapy and medication. I don't believe in band-aid treatments. I try as much as possible to help you get to the root causes of your difficulties. Life is too short to spend years in mental health treatment without getting significantly better.
