I was an acute care RN for over 20 yrs, then I decided to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have my prescriptive authority, meaning I can prescribe medications. I have been a nurse practitioner for 5 years, and have treated all kinds of mental health issues across the lifespan from ages 7 and well over age 65.
Mental health & wellness can coexist. You can feel better and you don't have to suffer through it alone. I think you will find that I am a laid back kind of guy, I like to spend time outdoors and with my family. I am also an army veteran, and hope to help serve fellow veterans.
