With over 15 years of experience, Mona provides medication management for various mental health disorders, including ADHD, Depression, Anxiety disorders, Bipolar I & II Disorder, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, PTSD, and Borderline Personality Disorder. Mona’s focus is medication management; however, she provides supportive psychotherapy during her appointments and has experience with both CBT and DBT, which is often incorporated into each of her sessions.
I opened my telepsychiatry practice at Insightful Psychiatric Mental Health to fulfill my passion in helping patients improve their mental health by using evidence-based methods, including psychopharmacology and supportive psychotherapy. From experience, I have realized that an important component in treatment is to assist patients in gaining insight.
I come from a place of empathy and nonjudgment. We are all human and are vulnerable to mental health issues, as these issues do not discriminate between races, religious or cultural groups, or socioeconomic classes. My practice is inclusive; I strive to be culturally competent and provide the best quality of care for all.
