I love working with patients who are inquisitive about their mental health and who may be cautious about medication and traditional western medical practices. I hold a special interest in the use of psychedelics in psychiatry.

I spend extensive time during assessment to try to understand my patients in a holistic way and not simply as a list of diagnostic criteria. I believe that mental, physical, and spiritual health are interconnected and that each deserve attention during assessment and when deciding upon treatment modalities together.

I believe that the relationship between provider and patient needs to be rooted in a non-judgmental, safe space and that any decisions regarding treatment should be researched-based and mutually agreed upon with my patients. I pride myself on empowering and educating patients to make their own decisions about their mental health care.
