I am accepting new patients. I am located in Michigan and also am licensed to see patients in California, New York, & Massachusetts. My strongest clinical background is in treating adults, older children, and adolescents with symptoms of anxiety and/or depression. I offer individual psychotherapy as well as medication management. I also have expertise in consulting with schools to help support students. I have worked extensively with patients and families in improving relationships and communication. I have clinical expertise in diagnostic assessments, consultation, and care linkage for children, adolescents, and adults as well.
I approach my clients' wellness by examining their physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being and also by examining the systems that they exist in (ie. school, family, friendships, romantic relationships). I have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based treatment modalities.
Until 2021, I was a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and provided school consultation to two school districts. I currently offer telehealth and some in-person visits in Ann Arbor. I welcome patients who identify as LGBTQ+
