I am Mitchelee Dunbar, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with years of experience in behavioral health, both in inpatient and outpatient treatment settings. I diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health concerns with a holistic and comprehensive approach. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, trauma, adjustment disorders, and mood disorders. I provide quality, compassionate, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive mental health services to adult clients. I am passionate about empowering clients to take control of their lives.
I completed my undergraduate education at Empire State College and earned my Master's degree in Nursing at Stony Brook University, with a focus on providing comprehensive, culturally competent care to diverse populations. I have a keen insight into the needs of others, and I am able to listen attentively and identify and address any challenges in your life.
