I am a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, focusing on mental health wellness and medication management. Early in my career, I focused as a general practitioner in Dhaka, Bangladesh since 1984, until I relocated to the USA in 2005. I received my Master's in Nursing from Kennesaw State University. After receiving my master's degree, I worked with several psychiatrists and went on to complete my Post-Master's Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Degree from the University of Cincinnati, OH.
I treat patients of all ages and have experience in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance use disorders, psychosis/schizophrenia, medication management, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship issues, self-esteem problems, grief, stress, sleep disorders, trauma, PTSD, and impulse-control disorders.
