Hi there, I am Rajni Sharma.I am a certified psychiatric nurse practitioner PMHNP. I studied at Wilkes University in Pennsylvania for a PMHNP degree, FNP master’s degree at Chamberlain University, and a bachelor’s degree at American Sentinel University. I have been practicing for seven years in behavioral health and vulnerable subpopulations and treating a variety of mental health issues.I do medications and psychotherapy as well.My approach to therapy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Psychodynamic, Grief, and Supportive. I enjoy assisting clients in being their best versions and overcoming issues that may hinder them otherwise.
I provide culturally competent care and work with diverse values, and I am available to discuss the labels that surround mental health and the stigma surrounding it.
I listen to my clients, engage honestly, and tell them the things they need to hear. I am fluent in English and speak Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi as well.
My past clinical experience includes working one-on-one with clients experiencing symptoms of personality and mood disorders, not limited to depression, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, dementia, Panic attacks, and anxiety, to name a few. I am treating them with medications/ psychotherapy as required.
