Patients come for various reasons to see a psychiatrist -depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, acute stress, relationships, family, identity problems. My goal is to establish a trusted relationship and supportive environment in order to help my patients to meet their needs, build coping skills, enhance their strengths and resolve symptoms. I strongly believe in compassionate and nonjudgemental approach. I enjoy working with patients of all different backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations. My approach is patient centered and individualized.

I am a double certified psychiatrist in General Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. I also have a strong background in internal medicine which I practiced before my career in psychiatry. I enjoy working with patients with complex medical problems in combination with psychiatric illness. My expertise is psychopharmacology.

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In our first session, we'll explore details of your current problems , your previous psychiatric and medical history in combination with your background in order to establish diagnosis. Then we'll discuss appropriate treatment options and tailor specific plan which best suits your needs.
