My name is Mikhail Vassilenko. I am a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in adults with a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety and panic disorders, depression, Bipolar Disorder, and psychotic disorders. I take a person-centered approach to patient care and will work with you to achieve your best self. I firmly believe that standard medicine in conjunction with therapy is the best approach to getting one to their fullest and healthiest potential. I accept Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Humana and Medicare. Most pay a very minimal copay to see me.
In Pennsylvania, I was the medical director of an LTSR (long-term structured residency) and the medical director of an acute care, inpatient psychiatric hospital. I continued to work inpatient for a few years until finally coming to work for Lake Worth Psychiatry. It is here that I will hopefully help you in the journey to mental Health and well-being.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife, 2 daughters, and our 4 dogs. One of my interests is traveling, which I especially enjoy cruises. TMS and Genetic testing is available.
