Welcome. I am a dual board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and midwife with over 20 years experience in women's health. My clients feel uniquely understood during their pre-conception, prenatal and postpartum years and beyond. I am passionate about providing evidence based, safe and effective psychiatric medication management for women during and after their reproductive years. There are many medications that can be used safely in pregnancy and while breastfeeding, and peri-menopausal women may benefit from some medications over others.
The old English translation of midwife means “with woman”. I became a midwife to provide women-centered, evidence-based care in a more genuine, empowering and empathetic relationship. I continue my passion for women’s health by cultivating the same relationships with my psychiatric clients.
Pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period and the middle years can be some of the most challenging and transformational times in women’s lives. I get it- both professionally and personally.
