I have experience treating a variety of conditions such as such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and thought disorders. I specialize in depression and anxiety. I am also an Associate Professor at Rush University. I am accepting new adult (18+) patients at my practice. A key part of my role is medication management. However, I also spend time getting to know you as a person and determining the aspects of your life that are contributing to the way you feel.
As your provider, I will spend time hearing your story - your personal narrative. Together we will establish collaborative goals. These goals will be personal to how your symptoms are impacting your life. By doing so we can gauge recovery from symptoms in a way that is meaningful to you.
During a typical appointment, we will talk about your medication as well as spend time talking about life stressors and issues. I have found this approach to be very successful when clients are just as committed to achieving their treatment goals.
