Michelle is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry. She has many years of experience working in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. Her Masters Degree is from Pace University. Michelle is a trauma-informed provider with extensive experience as the Director of Nursing in a Correctional facility and understands First Responders, Veterans, and their challenges.
Michelle specializes in First Responders, Law Enforcement Officials, Police Officers, Firefighters, EMTs, Corrections Personnel, and Medical Personnel. She understands trauma, PTSD, hypervigilance, and Addictions. She has a keen insight into the needs and views of others. Michelle runs an addiction group for First Responders with Substance Use Disorders.
With the continued trauma and stress placed on First Responders, Michelle has a passion for instilling confidence and promoting self-compassion to empower clients to take control of their own lives and feel confident moving forward.
