I provide Meaning Centered Therapy which is based on the belief that all problems hold potential for learning and growth. I see every person with physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual needs. I also see each as an overcomer rather than a victim, no matter what the trauma. EMDR and Dream Work may be used, if appropriate. My approach is interpersonal and I see the therapist and client as two people working together toward a goal set by the client. I also offer life-coaching. I offer medication management and integrate natural supplements added to prescription medications whenever possible.
Medications are prescribed for symptoms associated with Eating Disorders, PTSD, complicated grief reactions, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and insomnia related to stress. I also encourage use of supplements or behavioral techniques. I can accommodate persons who are uninsured with sliding scale fees. I encourage emotional support animals.
A 45 minute initial medication assessment is $75 and then $30 for each brief follow up medication check for persons who must pay out of pocket. This is also negotiable. I believe that anyone who is honestly seeking help to move forward in their seeking wellness should not be discouraged for lack of money. Psychotherapy sessions are also on a sliding scale.
