Hello, my name is Michelle Castro. I am an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who specializes in adult mental health. I completed both my undergraduate and graduate studies at Rutgers University. I hold a Master’s degree in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Bachelor of Science in Business. I have over ten years of experience as a healthcare provider and have worked at reputable institutions including Hackensack University Medical Center, and New York- Presbyterian Hospital/ Columbia University Medical Center. I currently work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.
I offer a supportive communications style geared to make my clients feel comfortable in expressing their goals and wants in terms of their mental health. I work with adults of all age groups who are interested in starting medication, those who are transitioning onto new medications and also those who feel they are ready to come off their medications.
