I'm Michelle Brown, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 13 years of experience and a deep passion for mental health and understanding the vast array of human experiences across diverse backgrounds. Specializing in trauma therapy, I draw from my own experiences growing up in a military family and my dedicated work with veterans and others facing life's toughest challenges. I believe that trauma connects us in a way few other things do, and it's this perspective that drives my commitment to helping clients heal and find peace.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University, where I gained a foundation that blends therapeutic and holistic care with medication management. My approach is comprehensive, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing to create a toolkit that addresses each client’s unique needs.

In my practice, therapy is a collaborative journey. I believe in working hand-in-hand with clients, guiding them as they explore, grow, and overcome barriers to a more fulfilling life. Together, we’ll embark on a path toward self-discovery and empowerment, setting a course for a brighter future.
