I have immediate availability. It is a privilege to listen to others - it is even more so a privilege when I am able to invite discussion about the thoughts that accompany our daily lives. My main objective is not to numb you from these thoughts or disassociate you from your lived experiences. Through measured psychiatric medication management and talk therapies, I hope that you will begin to feel gradually more capable of taking back your inner monologue.
I am passionate about psychoeducation. I have seen the negative consequences of a diagnosis that is delivered in an impersonal fashion without explanation. You deserve to understand every aspect of our visits and I encourage you to challenge my assessments. I do not receive industry funding, honoraria, or incentives.
I am board-certified in adult psychiatry. I have special interests in populations that have historically incurred difficulties in accessing psychiatric care, such as adults with disabilities.
I desire to care for patients who have had difficulties with prior psychiatric care or patients who are worried about seeing a psychiatrist for the first time.
