I am a triple board-certified physician, with board certifications in psychiatry, lifestyle medicine, and integrative medicine. After receiving a PhD in clinical psychology, I decided to become a physician to better understand the biological aspects of mental health and illness. I completed my residency and fellowship in psychiatry at UCLA, and previously served on the clinical and then the adjunct research faculty there.
Along the way, I became passionate about lifestyle and integrative medicine. Scientific research clearly shows that healthy nutrition and lifestyle are important for physical and mental health. Lifestyle medicine aims to treat, reverse, and prevent chronic disease and integrative medicine combines conventional interventions with complementary approaches.
While my primary role is medication management, I can also help you evaluate lifestyle changes and integrative methods to improve your mental and physical health.
