I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist and a Certified Group Psychotherapist. I provide individual, group, family, and/or couple's therapy along with medication management when it is needed. If you are experiencing depression, anxiety/stress, feelings of emptiness, relationship problems, self-hatred/sabotage, oppressive perfectionism, indecisiveness, or a general unhappiness with life, I can assist you in managing and overcoming these difficulties.
While I am qualified to treat most psychiatric/psychological difficulties, I have a special interest and competency in treating those who suffer from personality disorders. I also provide psychotherapy for mental health professionals who are seeking to learn more about themselves in order to better assist their clients.
I have served on the faculty of NY Medical College, NYU, and Hofstra. I have received two Teacher of the Year Awards (North Shore) and an Outstanding Teacher Award (LIJ), been the recipient of the Award for Clinical Excellence (NYMC), and am a five-time Patients' Choice Award winner.
