Welcome to my outpatient psychiatry practice. I take a whole person clinical approach to assessment and treatment. When necessary, I may prescribe psychotropic medication to help alleviate overwhelming mental distress that impairs functioning in meaningful areas of one’s life. I also provide mindfulness-based psychotherapy and consider the role of diet, physical exercise, and other lifestyle activities in support of mental health. I offer hope for individuals seeking relief from depression, anxiety, bipolar illness, and other mental health conditions.
My clinical approach aims to support my patients in cultivating skillful awareness for the duration of their treatment (and beyond) with the goal of achieving insight into the underlying root cause of their mental distress, so they may choose to take meaningful action.
