I feel incredibly fortunate to contribute to the mental health field, where prioritizing mental well-being is neither shameful nor taboo. Our bodies inherently safeguard our most crucial organ: the brain. It serves as the powerhouse for the entire body, and its well-being is as vital as that of our heart, pancreas, or lungs. My journey in the mental health field began as a social worker and psychotherapist. Over time, I evolved into a physician assistant, equipped to prescribe medications and offer comprehensive medical care. To enhance my capabilities, I pursued and attained additional certification in psychiatry
The patients I have been so privileged to work with, who have humbled me by giving me their trust, have been the best teachers there are. I always look forward to meeting new patients and their families so that we can work together to heal what ails through mutual problem-solving and tapping into the many strengths we all have.
I have worked in the mental health field since 2008, starting out as a social worker & psychotherapist and eventually becoming a physician assistant with the ability to prescribe medications & provide medical care. I pursued and received additional certification in psychiatry to demonstrate my dedication to providing my patients with the best care possible.
