About
I am an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in medication management. I received my graduate degree from Yale University School of Nursing in 2006. In addition to being a Nurse Practitioner, I have been a psychiatric RN for 35 years. Prior to entering Yale, I worked for 7 years on a major Harvard Medical School psychiatric teaching unit. I am a conservative prescriber and believe in using the smallest possible dosages of medication to treat a client's symptoms. I do very thorough initial evaluations with my clients and work with them closely until they are stable on their medications.
I accept Aetna and United Healthcare insurance. I have a generous sliding scale for those who pay out-of-pocket. Please call me to discuss payment options if you do not have Aetna or United insurance. I am fully licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in both the State of Connecticut and New York State.
