My particular interests and training are in using medications for: Anxiety disorder, Bipolar/mood disorder, Depression, ADHD, Post traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, Substance use disorder( suboxone & Naltrexone). With respect to psychotherapy, I use cognitive behavioral technique.
I believe that as a provider, I should keep current with the latest developments in my specialty and offer that information to the patient. My approach is not to be the all-knowing expert, rather, I consider myself an advisor to the patient, who after all makes the ultimate decisions about treatment.
