I strive to create a collaborative relationship with my clients. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship begins with understanding my clients as they see themselves and the goals that they have for themselves. This understanding allows for an individual treatment plan to be created which may include medication management, motivational interviewing, and brief supportive therapy to address my client's needs. I believe that the best treatment outcomes are found in a multidisciplinary treatment approach, therefore I often encourage my clients to consider combined treatment with a therapist.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide medication management for ages 15 and older. My specialty areas include anger management, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD, seasonal affective disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and bipolar disorders.
