I have specialized training working with children, adolescents and families and enjoy working with children and adults of all ages. I also have specialized training in forensic psychiatry and have worked on many cases involving mental health and the legal system. I have extensive experience working with children, teenagers and young adults. I believe most people are helped by psychotherapy and, when necessary, this can be combined with medications. I have experience working with individuals, families and couples in a variety of styles of treatment and types of therapy, so I will find the best fit for you and/or your loved ones.
The focus of my expertise is helping with transitions between childhood to teen years to college and graduate school, working and learning how to live on your own, then to building a career, a family and a happy life. I help with trauma and loss, depression, anxiety, ADHD, as well as eating disorders, other mood disorders, substance use and neurodivergence.
We will work together to find the best treatment modalities for you. Therapy, including CBT, DBT, supportive, psychodynamic psychotherapy, medications, lifestyle modifications, mindfulness meditation, relaxation techniques, and more. Please reach out and start your journey to a happier and healthier you.
