My name is Melissa Buss, I am a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who is committed to providing comprehensive mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. With a background in nursing and advanced training in psychiatry, I possess the skills and expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders. With over a decade of expertise, I have served as an outpatient clinician in Minnesota addressing the mental health needs of individuals in rural settings.
I possess a comprehensive understanding of psychiatric disorders across the lifespan and am skilled in conducting thorough psychiatric assessments, formulating evidence-based treatment plans, managing psychotropics and providing compassionate care to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns.
Working in mental health has been so rewarding for me. I truly enjoy each and every one of my patients. I am able to see how the treatment of depression, anxiety, etc., affects everyday functioning, including relationships, social life, and work.
