Dr. Sheehan is the only fellowship trained outpatient Consultation-Liaison psychiatrist in Nebraska, and is dedicated to bringing specialized care to patients throughout the state. Dr. Sheehan is a sub-specialist in psycho-oncology, reproductive psychiatry, and complex medical and psychiatric conditions. She also treats patients with anxiety, mood disorders, panic, PTSD, ADHD, and more. Understanding barriers to care, she provides confidential and convenient care to everyone, including professionals and medical professionals.
My approach is flexible and highly individualized. I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy to help patients gain a deeper understanding of themselves. I also incorporate elements of CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and insight oriented therapy. If medications are indicated or need to be adjusted, we will work together to optimize your treatment plan.
