Licensed in OR and WA, I provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and medication management either in-person or online (but find it's often helpful for our first meeting to be in person if possible). I'm happy to initiate medication for the first time, optimize current medications, streamline an overly complicated regimen, or smoothly taper off medications that are no longer effective or needed. I believe in a “less is more” approach and encourage non-pharmacologic interventions when appropriate. It’s normal to have questions or mixed feelings about medication — I’m here to help you explore options at your own pace.
I take the time to understand your story. If you have a therapist, I will partner with them to develop a medication treatment plan that supports your therapeutic progress. My own therapeutic approach, which is incorporated into your medication management visit, is rooted in evidence-based practices like CBT, ERP, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing.
I received my M.D. and Ph.D. (in Neuroscience) from UCLA, and completed my specialty training in psychiatry at the University of Washington where I also completed a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry. I look forward to meeting you!
