Are you a Christian and feeling lost and scared finding proper treatment in your mental health journey? With more than a decade in psychiatry, I love bridging the gap between good Christ-centered care and mental health. I found my love for behavioral health during my undergraduate years at the University of Florida and soon after completed my Masters as a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Jacksonville University. I have always valued the importance of building strong relationships with patients to provide an environment in which each individual feels heard and is part of the decision-making process.
I have had the opportunity to take care of a wide range of diagnoses in my career including depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD and schizophrenia. I also have a background working in substance abuse treatment facilities, and understands the importance of simultaneously addressing mood stabilization and addiction treatment.
It has always been my greatest privilege to lend others hope when they are struggling to find it and to leverage my skills and faith to help patients recover joy from their depression, peace from their anxiety and freedom from their addiction. I own and operate Hope First Wellness to provide a Christian practice for those seeking treatment.
