About
Megan is an ANCC board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She approaches each individual holistically as an individual's overall health and well-being encompass not only their physical health, but also their mental, emotional, and social/environmental health. Megan believes in meeting clients where they are in order to provide them with a positive experience and help them achieve their optimal level of functioning through client-centered treatment planning, including medication management, CBT, and DBT skills.
Megan completed her master's of nursing at Stony Brook University and bachelor of science in nursing at Northeastern University. She has experience working with clients across the life span with various mental health disorders since beginning her nursing career in 2015 in acute inpatient psychiatric units, evaluation center, and psychiatric admissions.
Megan specializes in working with young adults (ages 18-32) dealing with mood and anxiety disorders, those experiencing mental health challenges for the first time, often while navigating life transitions. She believes in creating a safe space for all clients to work on their mental health goals regardless of gender identity, race, culture, or religion.
