Finding child and adolescent services in Hawaii, especially on the Big Island, can be incredibly challenging, let alone being able to navigate communication between therapists, primary care providers, and schools. Families often reach out to me during times of extreme crisis or disruption, such as their child acting out, an adolescent engaging in self harm behavior, or a student struggling with attention and focusing at school. I have deep understanding of these challenges, including being a parent myself, and can help find solutions to help your child and your family to be happier.
I bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and understanding to the care of your child and family. It can often be difficult to navigate resources, understand treatment options, and find the exact help and support that is needed. My 25 years experience in working with children, adolescents, and families brings peace of mind the best care is being given.
It can often be very difficult, and sometimes anxiety provoking, to seek psychiatric help for your child. I hope I can put you at ease, and help you know that you have a provider to rely on and who is an advocate for your child.
