My name is Meagan, and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner living in Texas. I have experience in outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization settings. I treat all ages but have extensive experience in and a passion for the pediatric, adolescent, and young(ish) adult population. I love working with kids who are struggling with anxiety or depression, teens who don't seem to be making the best choices, and young adults who are still trying to figure out who they are.
Medication is important in treating mental illness. However, there is no "magic pill to fix everything." I work with patients to find the right medication(s) to address their symptoms while integrating solution-based, individualized therapy.
