Dr. Swaminathan Thangaraj is board certified in both adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. He received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, then completed general psychiatry residency at Drexel College of Medicine, followed by child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Before joining the outpatient psychiatry team at CareMind Health/Mindoula Clinical Services, Dr. Thangaraj worked as a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Sheppard-Pratt Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and McLean Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

My name is Jason, I am a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), specializing in anxiety, panic disorder, depression, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia. Dr. Temi has extensive experience in treating mental health disorders such as Depression, Anxiety, OCD, ADHD, Bipolar etc in children, adolescents, and adults, and in various clinical settings. Dr. Temi is attentive and she provides evidence-based care in a holistic approach by taking various factors into account. When Dr. Temi is with her patient, she takes her time listening to her patient’s needs as she thinks successful treatment is based on strong communication and collaborative work with patients.

Dr. Heather Mak is board certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She received her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and completed her Internship & residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Before joining the outpatient psychiatry team at CareMind Health/Mindoula Clinical Services, Dr. Mak worked as a Staff Psychiatrist for the San Diego Amer. Indian Health Center and for the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. Additionally, Dr. Mak has held a Faculty position with the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Mak is currently a Navy Reserve Officer.

Dr. Carnetha Simmons has been practicing as a board certified Adult, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, for over 14 years. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, and completed her general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent Fellowship at Prisma Health in Columbia, South Carolina.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

Florence is a graduate from Coppin State University with BSN and Masters’s in psychiatric Mental health from Walden University. She has worked as a clinician both in outpatients and telehealth services. She cares for children, adults, and the geriatric population. Florence is passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness.
