I graduated from University of South Alabama and qualified to diagnose and treat a wide array of mental health conditions across the entire lifespan. I have over 18 years of clinical experience and have worked in different healthcare setting including in-patient and outpatient health. I worked at Oasis Center for Mental health, Annapolis Maryland, Psych Associates of Annapolis Maryland, Axios Behavioral health La-plata and as Associate Medical director at QCI Behavioral Health of Southern MD.

My ideal client is that individual who may be struggling with a mental health issue, a client that needs care and support, who is willing to participate in this transformation journey and a quest to live a happier life. Lateshia Jackson is a family psychiatric nurse practitioner licensed in Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia. She is a graduate of Howard University and University of Maryland Schools of Nursing. I am credentialed to provide medication management, psychotherapy, and psychiatric evaluations to children, adolescents, and adults. Specialities include mood disorder, substance misuse, anxiety disorder, and psychotic disorder. Certified to prescribe suboxone for opiate misuse. Also certified to provide recommendations for medical cannabis in District of Columbia and Maryland.

Her experience includes providing care to clients of different populations (adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and veterans), with the goals of restoring, improving, and stabilizing patients’ mental health. Ms. Tucker's practice philosophy comes from her nursing background that emphasizes providing safe, compassionate, and empathetic patient-centered care. She is currently licensed in MD and CA.
