I am an open, caring, and intuitive psychiatric nurse practitioner who works well with clients of all ages and backgrounds. Besides eight years experience as a nurse practitioner and 11 as a psychiatric nurse, I also have a PH.D. in English and am skilled in communicating with my clients. I provide psychiatric evaluations, ongoing medication management, and psychotherapy. Working together, my client and I set up meaningful and workable therapeutic goals and then go about attaining them. Body awareness and imagery work are hallmarks of my practice. I am also trained as an EMDR therapist and can offer EMDR to interested clients.
I easily attune to the needs of my client and offer both psychotherapy and medication management.
Please feel free to call or email me. If I cannot help, I will be happy to direct your elsewhere so that your needs are met.
