I am a psychiatrist with expertise in both medication management and psychotherapy. I have been involved with medical student and resident education in these areas as a faculty member at Weill Cornell Medical College, Columbia University Medical Center, and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
My private practice is located in Manhattan at Union Square–Gramercy Park. With specialities in psychopharmacology and psychodynamic psychotherapy, I present each patient with multiple treatment options that make use of either strategy—or both. I encourage patients to guide the direction we take.
My collaborative stance has earned me the respect of patients and colleagues alike: I was selected Chief Resident in Psychiatry at Weill Cornell; was honored with the 2013 Attending Physician of the Year Award at Columbia; and, as of 2022, have served as Assistant Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai.
