I am a board-certified, doctorally educated, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I started my career as a RN in 2006 and have practiced as an advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) since 2018. I have managed medications for most psychiatric and substance use disorders. I have counseled patients with psychological and addictive disorders. I have over 3 years of direct experience providing transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) services for treatment-resistant depression and other mental health disorders.
Through my understanding of neurobiology, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy, I use an integrative care model to encourage overall mental and physical wellness. Sometimes medications and/or therapy alone can help, but I may recommend inpatient care or more advanced treatment options such as TMS or ketamine therapy if needed.
