I’m Matt Miller, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in Santa Barbara, offering in-person care locally as well as telehealth across California. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, and substance use.
Earlier in my career, I worked within larger healthcare systems where the pace often prioritized volume over time with patients. That experience shaped how I practice today and led me to build a model of care that allows for a more thoughtful, individualized approach.
My approach centers on medication management. I take a measured approach and prioritize getting things right, rather than rushing decisions. I work closely with a trusted network of therapists and view medication as one part of a broader approach to care.
With dual board certification in psychiatry and adult-gerontology and a background in primary care, I take an integrated view of mental and physical health
