I guess one thing to know about me is that it's never comfortable or easy to write these types of blurbs about myself, but here we go!
I am a general and addictions psychiatrist who has been practicing for a bit over ten years at this point. I've worked in many different treatment settings as medical providers tend to do, but I am currently working at the outpatient level of care and specifically with adults. I've found it most rewarding and honestly fun to see individuals over an extended period of time and thus bear witness to all the growth, challenges, failures, and triumphs that may occur during our time spent together.
I provide medication management and try to do so via an evidence based and intentional lens. Within the visit time, I also incorporate therapeutic skills from a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness based therapy. My hope is that you never feel rushed and can be heard.
If you believe that I may be a good fit for your needs, I encourage you to reach out and schedule an initial appointment where we can get to know each other a bit. I look forward to seeing you.
