About
I am a board-certified psychiatrist in Houston, Texas who treats a variety of psychiatric conditions. I am particularly passionate about treating adults with mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. I also specialize in life transitions and phase of life issues, low self-esteem, grief and bereavement, relationship issues, and young adult/student mental health. I am skilled in evidence-based medication management. Psychotherapy is regularly emphasized in my practice.
I strongly believe in cultivating the therapeutic relationship. I utilize an individualized, patient-centered, collaborative approach to treatment that focuses on each patient’s own personal narrative. My goals are to provide high-quality care and prioritize the needs of my patients by taking the time to understand their values, goals, and life histories.
If you are interested in a consultation, please visit my website and fill out a consultation request, or call my number listed. I will respond to your request within 1-2 days. Of note, due restrictions that insurance can place on time spent on treatment and types of treatment provided, I do not accept insurance and am considered an Out-Of-Network provider.
