As a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I believe it's important to get to know you as an individual first. I am passionate about listening to you and working together with you to develop a plan that will best suit you. I specialize in the treatment of adolescents and adults with various mental illnesses with an emphasis on depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, bipolar disorder and trauma. When meeting with me just know it is a nonjudgemental environmental.
I was a float in the hospital and did not have a "home" I was trained on every inpatient unit psychiatry was the only place that I never dreaded or got tired of. It is so rewarding watching individuals return to their "normal" selves.
The first step would be to establish a therapeutic relationship I want you to feel comfortable sharing your goal with me no matter how big or small it may be. Then we will work together to come up with a plan for you to achieve those goals and adapt or change those goals if need be.
