I am a board-certified PMHNP and I believe there is a mind/body/gut connection. Therefore I am dedicated to treating the whole person, not just a series of parts. I view my practice as multi-faceted including educator and advocate. I love that at Ampelis Health I work with a team of experts in psychiatry, positive psychology, marriage and family relations, nutrition, mindfulness, and wellness. This gives my patients access to the tools they need to overcome and manage their mental health concerns rather than just address symptoms.
I bring compassion and understanding of many under-represented and vulnerable populations in the community. I also follow evidence-based guidelines blended with experience, intuition, and personal observation allowing me to provide quality care for my patients.
I diagnose and treat conditions including ADHD, depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, insomnia, and other conditions. Areas of specialty and focused interest include PTSD, abuse (physical, emotional, and sexual), panic disorder and relationship stressors.
